Bastei Lübbe Audio announces long-term extension of its contract with Arvato’s Replication Solution Group

Lübbe Audio’s audiobook version of the bestselling political satire “Er ist wieder da” (He’s Back) by Timur Vermes has already sold more than 520,000 copies. The audiobook – superbly read by German actor and comedian Christoph Maria Herbst – has now been awarded the Platinum Award.

Published in fall 2012, the novel – a formidable example of just how morbid satire can be – topped the German “Spiegel” magazine’s bestseller list in record time. “Er ist wieder da” takes us out of our comfort zone to tell the story of a newly reawakened Hitler, who finds himself in the middle of the 21st century and sets out on a rather sparkling career in television. As with all other Lübbe Audio audiobooks, “Er ist wieder da” was produced by Arvato Replication.
