Arvato takes over Nestlé's print management
With immediate effect, the Corporate Information Management (CIM) Division of Arvato SCM Solutions will be responsible for print management at Nestlé Deutschland AG. As part of this joint venture, Arvato SCM Solutions will coordinate the cross-departmental procurement of marketing materials for the world's largest food manufacturer – including popular brands like Nestlé Schöller, Nespresso and Wagner.
The objective of the partnership is to optimize the purchasing and ordering processes for marketing materials, for example like high-gloss illustrated product brochures, coupon booklets or items for point-of-sale campaigns. Above and beyond that, Arvato will consolidate Nestlé's quality and supplier management as well as handle all payment transactions with suppliers.
Central processing from a single source lowers procurement costs and creates further synergies. Nestlé additionally benefits from the advice provided by the experts on the Arvato team who regularly consultant the food manufacturing group on-site at its corporate headquarters. This means that Nestlé is given greater freedom to concentrate on its core competencies.
