Arvato and Ford extend their cooperation in marketing logistics
50 years of successful cooperation
Gütersloh – Arvato and Ford-Werke GmbH have extended the agreement currently in force on the automobile manufacturer’s marketing logistics. For 50 years now, the Corporate Information Management Division of Arvato SCM Solutions has been making sure that the distribution of Ford's marketing materials, such as catalogs, brochures or showroom items, runs smoothly.
Arvato's service portfolio for Ford not only covers the storage and distribution of materials, but the generation of special sales literature as well, for example, the refinement of catalogs by incorporating dealers’ individual contact data.
The two companies’ first joint venture was signed in the year 1967. That means, Ford was the Division's first customer and represents an important part of the company's history. “A business relationship enduring for half a century is indeed a special one. We look back proudly on these remarkable business dealings with Ford. United we have successfully attained continuous process improvement – not the only reason why we look forward to numerous prosperous years in the future,” says Boris Scholz, Managing Director Corporate Information Management – Arvato SCM Solutions.
