Healthcare is a field in constant change: the focus is increasingly on the needs of patients, while digital transformation is having a significant influence on sales and distribution channels. Another factor that continues to have a significant effect on our businesses is the ever-increasing internationalisation of distribution and logistics structures. These trends determine our actions as a service provider, since our task is to support our customers with their transformation and their growth. Internationalisation and innovative solutions at the point of care are the focus points here. One prominent example is our activities in Spain. This issue of our healthcare news contains a special feature on Spain and we take a closer look at the country with the highest life expectancy in Europe.
I’m also delighted to present our expanded site in Hamburg which we opened in September together with our long-standing customer Olympus. You can also find an update on the international roll-out of our STOK inventory management services in and en route to hospitals. See what else this issue contains in the following table of contents.
